When IComm first started working with KordaMentha – an advisory and investment firm – the company was looking to replace an ageing PABX phone system, as well as introduce video and audio conferencing. KordaMentha wanted to make staff more productive by concentrating on three key areas – communication within the business and with clients, real time access to data, and a central repository of information that staff could access at any one time.

The Solution

KordaMentha found that they could achieve these goals by working on the Microsoft platform. Microsoft Lync was first rolled out, and then later upgraded to Skype for Business, proving the solutions’ ability to advance with the company. Microsoft was also chosen due to its ability to offer the right level of security to protect the sensitive data KordaMentha has on file.
