Thank you to all those who joined us last night at our Cloud Collective Quarterly Social Event. For this quarter, we chose to support our hero customer Mission Australia by building personal hygiene care packs for Sydney’s homeless and disadvantaged families. It was great to see the whole Cloud Collective team and partners from Microsoft Australia working together for this wonderful cause.
We greatly appreciate Steven Worrall, Managing director Microsoft Australia for participating and extending the support from Microsoft to make this occasion a success. Special thanks to Peter Smith, CIO Mission Australia and Greg Steele Corporate Partnership Manager Mission Australia, who guided us build the packs and also helped us immensely throughout the event.
We also thank Eric Coffman, for hosting and putting this wonderful event together. Without these people, the event would not have been possible.
Another special thank you to all those participated and donated to our GoFundMe campaign. With your contributions, we were able to make an extra 100 care packages, with 200 being made in total. These personal hygiene care packs are always extremely valuable and greatly needed. They do more than simply wipe away the dirt or make a stubbly chin smooth. They have an impact on people’s esteem and confidence and can have positive practical results, such as helping people get a job.
We know everyone enjoyed the event, and we look forward to supporting Mission Australia further in the future.
